Hudson River Fellowship
August 7th, 2009 by admin
I just participated with what may the be the best group of artists I have ever been among. Jacob Collins and his associates organized the Hudson River Fellowship for the first time three years ago. Each year they take a group of painters to the Catskills area to paint for a month and to examine the picture making methodology of the Hudson River painters (Church, Durand, Gifford, etc.). It involves a development of observational skills combined with imaginative picture making. I will be adding the images to my works page when I get a moment. Here are a few images for now.
